The September Issue

You know how sometimes you just don't want a film to end? No? Well sometimes I don't... and I haven't felt that way about a film in ages! But yes..I didn't not want this one to end!!!!!! EVER! Love Anna and Grace!

It would be easy if this was just about one thing.

My life in London. That pain in my heart when I think of Egypt.My longing for an Alexandria that no longer exsists and my fascination with a Cairo I barely know. My memories in a Doha that I watched grow and flourish .

It would be great if I could just write about my love for hip hop and R'n'B, why I never want certain films to end and why I haven't felt that way about a film for a long time. About those who inspire me and why.

About Fashion, style, religion, politics, Muslim women, Muslim men, Muslim anything (that never fails to get a blog going!). About Hijab and being a Hijabi. About being fat... (God I could write volumes!I probably will.)

It would be easy to pick one of those things and make the blog about it , but I can't.
